The July / August exhibition of "State of Dress" at the New York Mills Cultural Center in Minnesota marks the first one-woman showing of this series. On display were 40" X 60" photographic prints on canvas of all the "Dress" sculptures so far...

I am a multi-disciplinary artist, currently on a quest to create a site-specific, interactive "dress" sculpture in each state of the union. A documentary film is being made about the process, entitled "States of Dress". This blog documents my journey so far.

I love your dresses to death! They're all so creative and awesome!!
Keep up the ASTOUNDING work! :)
but, I don't understand why Illinois is represented with a thrifty story red dress?
I've lived there my whole life-I'm there right now! And quite puzzled.
Was just wanting to know what does the state of Tennessee dress look like? Eager to know!
Would love to know if there is a place on-line to view all 50 dresses? Love the preview so far!
